“TRIUMPH OVER TRAUMA” PROGRAM
This is a 12 day live-in, evidenced informed, rehabilitation type Program, specifically for military and first responder personnel, past and present, who are suffering and struggling with PTSD and related mental health issues.
Post Traumatic Growth will be a key factor in this Program as will be the measuring of outcomes and ongoing support.
This program includes approximately 100 sessions, which represent a combination of educational and activity based therapy.
In addition to the evidence-based clinical therapeutic sessions which will be facilitated by psychologists, the following is a snapshot of some of the other evidence informed sessions which are certain to be beneficial to the vast majority of Participants.

- About Peer Support
- Exercise Physiology
- Nutrition and Healthy Eating
- Humour and Laughter Therapy
- Yoga and Meditation
Participants will need a referral from their GP or mental health specialist, and will need to meet intake assessment criteria.
A maximum of 12 participants will take part in the first Program in March 2019, and subsequent Programs.
This Program will be delivered at Cedar Creek Lodges, Tamborine Mountain, commencing Sunday afternoon, 10 March 2019, and concluding Friday 22 March after lunch.
Well appointed, own room accommodation will apply.
Participants’ partners are invited to attend from lunch time Saturday 16 March to after lunch Sunday 17 March, to enjoy some relaxed quality time, but also to be involved with and without their participant mate in sessions involving Empathy and Understanding.
This Program will be at no cost to the participants as a result of generous sponsorships.
